Let’s not bury the lede. Cringer finds a ghost in the haunted forrest. Not a Scooby-Doo ghost, or a creature that resembles a ghost, but a bonafide, moaning, Disney-style ghost that threatens him. Confronting the wayward spirit is but one of many trials that Cringer must face to regain his dignity after failing the thwart Queen Marlena’s kidnappers.
How did we arrive at such a crisis? Well, the adventure begins with an awkward lunch at the palace and a surprisingly succinct plan from Skeletor that involves Mer-Man, Kobra Kahn, Whiplash and Clawful. After the villains abscond with the queen, our heroes engage in hot pursuit with the highly impractical Dragon Walker. Meanwhile, Orko and Cringer follow the trail in another direction.
We’ll meet Skeletor’s pet, Screech, examine palace marital strife and contemplate Attak-Trak uber.
We’re also discussing personal fears, and since Halloween is only 212 days away, we share some chilling ghost stories at the end of the episode!
